Christine: Internal Time

multiple personalities, dissociative identity disorder, iamWE

We don’t often repeat blog entries, but this past month we’ve been asked about how time passes internally versus externally. Years ago I posted the below blog and thought I’d share this bit of trivia for newer readers. To add to what was shared in the below blog, many of the Gang have been with me for a very long time. They have adapted a deep sleep-like or meditative state that helps pass the time away when they are not external as often as they wish. Alter Q once said, “When I did not know what I was missing, I never experience boredom or restlessness. I knew no differently. I just was. Then after getting to shift in and out, being stimulated in external world, being internal for longer time periods was harder and harder. Plus for long time I not able to talk to anyone internal and I experience loneliness. I may not get to see each Alter, but I can hear and talk to them now. Most times that is lovely : )”
